Hi there!  

My name is Jeanie Chapel and I am currently the 3rd - 5th grade Math teacher. I am also teaching a high school course in Education and Training for students who are interested in pursuing a career in education.

I am from California (greater Los Angeles area) where I taught for 12 years and I served outside the classroom in an administrative capacity for 5 years (all in an elementary setting) before moving to Texas in the summer of 2021. This is my 2nd year at Goodrich ISD and I have learned so much from our students, staff, parents and community. 

Aside from academic instruction, I teach students about hard work ethic, integrity and respect. Learning about diverse cultures is common in my classroom. Inclusivity and kindness are non-negotiable.
